The number of missing persons increased in Kakhovka

27 people are considered missing as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka hydropower station.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, released information about this.

"In the Kherson region, 47 settlements were flooded, 33 of them are in the territory controlled by Ukraine, and 14 are in the temporarily occupied territory. 2,620 people were evacuated, 160 of them are children.

In the Mykolaiv region, 31 settlements were flooded. 936 people, including 167 children, were evacuated. One person died," the minister said.
