Canada announced 500 million military aid to Ukraine

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the next military aid package to Ukraine during his visit to Kyiv.

Axar.az reports that during a briefing with Zelensky in Kyiv, Trudeau said that Canada has agreed on a new military aid package to Ukraine in the amount of 500 million Canadian dollars.

It was noted that the package of military assistance includes 288 AIM-7 missiles for air defence and 10,000 shells of 105 mm calibre.

In addition, the delivery of 122 "Rochelle" armoured vehicles will be completed in the coming weeks.

Trudeau also noted that Canada will do everything in its power to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets and provide aircraft maintenance.
