The road was closed on the Polish-Ukrainian border

Farmers in eastern Poland have been protesting near the border since June 9 against the import of Ukrainian grain into the country.

Axar.az reports that for several months, local farmers have been dissatisfied with the fact that Ukrainian products enter Poland at a cheaper price and that local products are not competitive. Despite the efforts of Poland and the European Union to soften the impact of Ukrainian agricultural goods on the market, farmers did not consider the steps taken to be sufficient.

The road to the Dorohusk border crossing point was closed due to farmers' protests. About 450 trucks have created a 13-kilometre traffic jam to cross the border, and only two vehicles are allowed to cross per hour.
