Yesterday, an F-35 "Lightning II" aircraft belonging to the 501st training squadron crashed near the city of Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

According to information, the pilot ejected due to a malfunction in the plane. After landing, the pilot was taken to the hospital, where he is currently in normal condition.
But the F-35 plane disappeared. It is not known where the plane landed.
Stanton, a veteran pilot at the base in Charleston, said he believed the plane could have crashed in Moultrie and Lake Marion.
According to him, a helicopter was also involved in the search of the plane.
Officials at the base appealed to the local population and asked those who saw the plane to report.
