Erdogan: I suggested this to Putin

Official Ankara intends to work with Moscow to deliver 1 million tons of Russian grain to African countries.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this.

"More grain should be sent to African countries in need," the Turkish leader said.

Erdogan noted that after negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, it is planned to supply one million tons of grain to African countries.

The head of state proposed to Putin to further increase this amount.
