Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on an appeal of the Armenian Foreign Ministry to the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

Axar.az reports that Zakharova sarcastically responded on the Telegram channel to Yerevan's official appeal to the UN Security Council and the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent to stop the military operations in Garabagh.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia calls on the UN Security Council and Russian peacekeepers to take measures to stop Azerbaijan's military operations in Garabagh.

So, what about the official Yerevan recognizes that Garabagh belongs to Azerbaijan?" said Zakharova.
