Murtaza Nurmohammadi Nadarli, a cultural activist from Sofyan, East Azerbaijan province, was transferred to Tabriz prison on September 28.

Axar.az reports that his family informed him about this.

Although it was agreed to temporarily release the activist on bail of 500 million tomans (AZN 15 thousand), he was not released.

It should be noted that the cultural activist was detained by security officers in the city of Sofyan on the morning of September 9 and transferred to the security detention centre of Tabriz. It is not known what he was charged with.
