NATO sent additional troops to this country

NATO has added additional troops to its peacekeeping contingent in northern Kosovo.

Axar.az reports that the Alliance has released information about this.

It is reported that this was caused by the increase in tensions with Serbia.

It should be noted that earlier, Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti announced that he needs NATO. He said that the border with Serbia is very long and the mentioned country continues to gather troops at the border.

It should be recalled that A. Kurti reported that on September 24, around 3:00 a.m., unknown persons opened fire on Kosovo police officers near Banska village of Leposavic municipality in the north of the region. Kosovo President Vyosa Osmani blamed Serbian criminal gangs for the attack.
