France has opened a defence mission in Armenia

France studies the defence needs of Armenia.

Axar.az reports that French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu mentioned these words in an interview with "Franceinfo" radio.

"The president is personally watching what is happening because this issue is extremely important for France. He said that our absolute goal is to protect the integrity, sovereignty and population of Armenia," Lecornu said.
