India has demanded that about 40 Canadian diplomats leave the country by October 10.
Axar.az reports that "Financial Times" has published information about this with reference to sources.
"The Indian authorities have threatened to deprive those who remain after the specified date of diplomatic immunity," the source said.
It is reported that Canada has 62 diplomats in India. Currently, New Delhi is demanding the expulsion of about 40 Canadian diplomats. Neither the Canadian Foreign Ministry nor the Indian government have commented on the information.
It should be noted that in September, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau announced that the Indian intelligence services may have been involved in the murder of one of the leaders of the Sikh community in Canada.
