Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov commented on the proposal of Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of RT TV, to conduct a nuclear test over Siberia.

Axar.az reports that Peskov said that such discussions are impossible.

"Russia has not left the regime of nuclear testing, and therefore I think it is impossible to hold such discussions. Let's not forget that Simonyan does not work in the Russian authorities and does not reflect the official position of Moscow," he said.

It should be noted that M. Simonyan suggested conducting a nuclear test over Siberia in one of the broadcasts and said that this "nuclear ultimatum" could be the key to a military solution to the Ukrainian conflict.
