The ratification of the Rome Statute will create problems for Armenia and its citizens.

Axar.az reports that Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the Russian State Duma, wrote this in Telegram.

According to him, this is an ill-considered, strategically incorrect decision:

"Those who made this decision should explain the reason. The development of relations between our countries is the choice of our people. The ratification of the said document is contrary to this development.

It should be recalled that on October 3, the Armenian Parliament approved the Rome Statute.

It should be noted that the International Criminal Court has made a decision to prosecute Russian President Vladimir Putin for child trafficking during the war in Ukraine.
