Banks sold $78M and €100M in six months

According to Monetary Policy Review of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for January-June 2016, the USD operations fell 2.9 times and EUR operations – 2.8 times in the currency market.

79% of operations was consumed in USD, 21% in EUR. Decline of currency market was also observed in cash foreign currency market. USD sold by banks in January-June 2016 dropped 73 times to $78 million, EUR slipped 4.4 times to EUR 100 million.
