Ukraine is light years away from the EU - Orban

It is necessary to correct the wrong promises given to Ukraine regarding the start of the EU membership negotiations.

Axar.az reports that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said this.

He said that Ukraine is "light years" away from the EU.

"A serious political struggle awaits us in the coming months, until the European elections. It will be our task to discuss the budget in Brussels, to correct the false promise given to Ukraine to start negotiations, because Ukraine is now light years away from the EU," said the prime minister.
