In 2022, Russia was threatened with a real economic collapse due to unprecedented sanctions, but the country was able to withstand this blow and even move towards growth over time.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said this.

"There was a danger of collapse, we really had to mobilize all resources and internal forces to prevent this collapse. Before Russia, no country faced such great pressure, but we were able not only to stabilize the situation but even enter the growth trajectory," said Peskov.
