Finland's decision to close the largest border crossings is a Russophobic policy. I would like to remind the Finnish authorities of this proverb: "You can live without a brother, but you cannot live without a neighbor".

Axar.az reports that this was said by Mikhail Sheremet, a deputy of the Russian State Duma.

"Unfortunately, Finland has adopted Russophobic policies and destructive Baltic behavior. The Finnish government unilaterally broke the centuries-old joint historical, economic, and humanitarian relations by taking a confrontational path," he said.

It should be noted that the Finnish government has decided to close one of the 8 checkpoints on the border with Russia for three months.
