Lavrov discussed Gaza with Abdollahian

During a telephone conversation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed the situation in Gaza with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and the parties stressed the importance of a ceasefire soon.

Axar.az informs citing Russian media.

"During the conversation, the main focus was on the current situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone. General concern was expressed regarding the ongoing armed conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The need for an immediate ceasefire and emergency aid to the injured civilian population was emphasized," the information said.
