The end of the war in Ukraine will depend on the supply of weapons and whether the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi gets the weapons he wants from his partners.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the former director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, General David Petraeus.

He noted that the US response to Russia's large-scale intervention in Ukraine was impressive:

"Although Washington could have made some decisions sooner. The reaction of the West is, I think, much more important than Putin thinks. And this is a lesson. Because in the past, we acted in such a way that Putin did not believe that we would react as strongly as we should."
