The mother was sentenced to 13 years in prison

Mahsa Yazadni, the mother of Mohammad Javad Zahidi, who was killed by government officials during the protests that began in Iran in September 2022, was sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Axar.az reports that his lawyer Meysam Musavi has released information about this.

He said that the heavy prison sentence of his client was confirmed by the Court of Appeal.

According to the lawyer, Mahsa Yazadni was punished for "propaganda against the government", "insulting the leader" and "insulting the saints".

It should be noted that the mother, whose son was shot by the officers, posted on social media that the authorities killed peaceful protesters.
