The West wants to keep the reins of global processes in its hands, blocks the opportunities for free development and manipulates the consciousness of entire nations.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.

"The collective West is tuned to keep the reins of global processes in its hands. For this, they do not hesitate to resort to military-political, economic, ideological, and informational pressures, to block the opportunities for free development, and to manipulate the consciousness of entire social groups and peoples. Because of this, new conflicts arise in different regions and old conflicts intensify," Medvedev said.
