Pyongyang launched a reconnaissance satellite

North Korea has launched a rocket carrying its first reconnaissance satellite.

Axar.az reports that the Japanese Coast Guard has released information about this.

It was reported that in connection with this, the J-Alert warning system was activated in Japan, and residents of the southern prefecture of Okinawa were advised to take shelter in buildings or underground due to the danger of falling missile remnants.

It is noted that North Korea had previously notified the Japan Coast Guard of its plans to launch an artificial satellite between November 22 and December 1.
