Israel announced its plan: This is how it ends Gaza

Israel has informed several Arab states that it wants to create a buffer zone on the Palestinian side of the border with the Gaza Strip to prevent possible attacks after the war.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Reuters.

Israel has shared its plans with Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

It said the initiative did not signal an imminent end to Israel's offensive, which resumed after a seven-day ceasefire.

Note that the Gaza Strip is an enclave approximately 10 km deep and 40 km wide. It is difficult to imagine a "buffer zone" in an area with a depth of only 10 km.
