A pro-Palestinian protester set himself on fire in front of the Consulate General of Israel in the United States.

The incident took place in Atlanta, Georgia.

It is reported that the condition of the protesters is serious.

Consul General of Israel, Anat Sultan-Dadon, said that he was saddened by the news of self-immolation.

"It is tragic that hatred and incitement against Israel are expressed in such a terrible way. We pray for the security officer who was injured while trying to prevent this tragic act."
