The Russian army captured this settlement

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the settlement of Artemovsk near Bakhmut was captured.

Axar.az reports that the ministry stated that the "South" group of troops in the direction of Donetsk improved their positions with the help of aviation and artillery, and the settlement of Artemovsk was captured.

It should be noted that Artemovsk is near the city of Bakhmut. In 2023, Russian and Ukrainian troops are fighting for the city of Bakhmut, and both sides control different parts of the city.
