There was a serious labour shortage in Russia

85% of Russian companies have a shortage of personnel.

Axar.az reports that RBK has published information about this.

It was reported that during the year, the number of vacancies published by employers increased by more than 57%, while the information about employees decreased even more. As a result, the competition for vacancies has decreased by 34% and the recruitment of personnel has become significantly more difficult.

According to the agency, there is an acute shortage of labourers, engineers, truck drivers and skilled workers. In addition, industrial enterprises are actively looking for new employees.

According to the "SuperJob" analytical centre, Russia's labour force continues to age:

"In the last year, the average age of employees increased by 2-3 years. For example, the age limit for truck drivers has increased from 42 to 44, and the age limit for workers has increased from 32 to 35.
