Residents in Kazakhstan received a message

Residents of the northern regions of Kazakhstan mistakenly received SMS messages indicating that the temperature in these areas has dropped to -380 °C.

Axar.az reports that RIA has released information about this.

The incident happened on December 8, and information about the frost was received on the same day.

"There is severe frost up to -380 °C in the territory of the Northern Kazakhstan region. Classes are cancelled in high school," the report said.

The press service of the "Tele2" mobile operator said that a mistake was made in the message, the degree symbol was written with "0" and as a result, -38 degrees turned into -380.
