The new Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, announced the changes in the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers and the government administration at the first meeting of the government.

Axar.az informs that Georgian media reported on this.

"The powers of the first deputy prime minister will be assigned to the minister of economy and sustainable development, Levan Davitashvili. I wish him success. The minister of culture, Thea Tsulukiani, and the minister of defence, Irakli Chikovani, have been appointed as deputy prime ministers," the prime minister stressed.

According to him, the changes also affected the government administration.

"Mikhail Peikrishvili will be the head of the government's strategic communications department," he said.
