Donald Trump's threats to withdraw the United States from NATO should he be re-elected should be taken seriously.

Axar.az reports that John Bolton, the former national security adviser of the US President, said this.

"I think that Trump's statements should be taken quite seriously. Now, many people - both supporters and opponents of Trump - do not accept this. When he says he wants the US out of NATO, I think that's a very real threat, and it's going to have very bad consequences for Washington. And not just in the North Atlantic region, but on a wider scale," Bolton said.
