The body of Alexei Navalny was handed over to his mother, Lyudmila Navalnaya.

Axar.az reports that the press secretary of the politician, Kira Yarmysh, said this.

"We thank everyone who demanded the return of Navalny's body to his mother. Lyudmila Ivanovna is in Salekhard. The funeral is yet to come. We don't know if the authorities will prevent them from doing it in a way that the family wants and deserves for Alexei. We will present the information as soon as it becomes available," Yarmysh said.
