Hungary does not need transit through Ukraine to ensure the security of the energy supply.

Axar.az informs that these words were said by the head of the Foreign Ministry of Hungary, Peter Siyarto, in an interview with RIA.

"Currently, our energy supply is secure, given that Turkish Stream can supply us with gas, so we don't need to transit through Ukraine to ensure supply," he said at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

He added that Hungary is open to negotiations regarding the increase of gas supply channels.
