The Pope called on Russia and Ukraine

Pope Francis has called for a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine based on the principle of "one for all" and a cease-fire between Israelis and Palestinians.

Axar.az reports that the Pope made this call in his traditional Easter message.

"My thoughts go to the victims of the many conflicts in the world, starting with the conflicts in Israel and Palestine, as well as in Ukraine. May Christ open the way of peace for the suffering people of these regions. "I hope for a universal exchange of all prisoners between Russia and Ukraine, calling for respect for the principles of international law," the Pope said.
