There will be no extraordinary presidential elections in Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Mehmet Uchum, the chief advisor to the President of Turkiye.

He considered calls for early elections unfounded:

"The term of office of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will last until 2028. He will lead Turkiye to start new stages. Let there be no doubt."

Let's remember that R.T. Erdogan won the presidential elections held in 2023. The next elections in the country are planned to be held in 2028.
