Ukraine opened a criminal case against Simonyan

The Security Service of Ukraine opened a criminal case against "Rossiya Segodnya" and the editor-in-chief of RT TV channel Margarita Simonyan.

Axar.az reports that information about this was spread on the Telegram channel of the Security Service of Ukraine.

"Simonyan has called for the mass killing of Ukrainian children in December 2023 and has repeatedly campaigned for continued rocket and bomb attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. "Simonyan is suspected of four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including genocide and encroachment on the territorial integrity and integrity of Ukraine," the report said.
