US Special Envoy for Iran Abram Paley visited Yerevan before Baku and Tbilisi as part of his South Caucasus tour.

During his visits to Yerevan and Tbilisi, he noted that he met with senior officials and representatives of the private sector to discuss ongoing efforts to comply with sanctions against Iran and the destabilizing behaviour of the Iranian regime.

"The United States is committed to working with its partners to promote a positive outlook in the region," Paley said.

The special envoy also released his video message from the Republic Square in Yerevan. He noted that he met with representatives of the Security Council, the State Revenue Committee, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Armenia.
