The Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck a military facility of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Damascus, not the consulate or the embassy.

Axar.az reports that Daniel Hagari, the representative of the Israeli army, said this.

"According to intelligence, this is not a consulate or an embassy. It was a military facility belonging to the "Al-Quds" Brigade. This facility was disguised as a civilian building," said Hagari.
