The drones that attacked Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan could have been launched from the territory of one of the Central Asian republics.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulev, a member of the Defense Committee of the Russian State Duma.

According to him, experts should learn this by following the flight trajectory of drones:

"There is no fact that they were released from the territory of Ukraine. We also have Central Asian republics, which is possible."

He added that the closest Central Asian Republic to Tatarstan is Kazakhstan, and it is possible that UAVs were launched from uncontrolled territory.

It should be noted that today, as a result of the Ukrainian UAV attack, an explosion occurred at the factory where "Shahid" UAVs are assembled.
