Kazakhstan refused the Victory Day parade

The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan does not plan to hold a military parade dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day on May 7 and Victory Day on May 9 in 2024 due to cost savings and other tasks.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan released information about this.

"The holding of a military parade in Kazakhstan in 2024 is not planned to save budget funds, as well as due to the need to solve other problems. In particular, it is a priority to maintain the combat readiness and mobility of units of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan at the appropriate level," the information says.

It should be noted that in 2022 and 2023, Kazakhstan did not hold a military parade in honour of Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day due to cost savings and other tasks.
