The Russian leadership has set a specific time for the army to capture Chasov Yar.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.

According to him, the Russians intend to occupy the city by May 9:

"The heroic defense of our brigades prevents the implementation of the enemy's plans. Taking advantage of numerical superiority and various motivational factors, individual infantry units of the enemy reached Novy microdistrict, but were destroyed by kamikaze strikes and artillery fire. "If we take into account that the supreme military leadership of Russia has set its troops the task of capturing Chasov Yar by May 9, the threat remains real."
