Heydar Aliyev did his best for this - Putin

Heydar Aliyev did everything he could for the realization of the Baikal-Amur highway project.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in a joint meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and veteran builders of BAH.

"Heydar Aliyev played an important role in the implementation of this project with his special personal qualities and skills," Putin said.

Putin noted that today the Baikal-Amur highway defines logistics for the entire 21st century.
