The figures announced by Volodymyr Zelensky in February about the losses of the Ukrainian army may be quite low.

Axar.az informs that the "Washington Post" published information about this concerning a Ukrainian deputy who did not want to be named.

The publication said that after military aid, the US administration intends to focus on other problems, including Ukraine's attempts to mobilize more troops.

“The US understands the sensitivity of rumours of a fighter shortage, but Kyiv must find a way to mobilize more forces and inspire Ukrainians to go to the frontline. Zelensky greatly underestimated the actual number of army casualties by saying that 31,000 soldiers died. The Ukrainian leadership is hiding information about the casualties, fearing that this will have negative consequences for the already difficult personnel and mobilization efforts," the publication said.
