The Russian army plans to start offensive operations in the east of the country and in other directions by May 9.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ivan Shevtsov, the head of the press service of the "Polad Sarhad" border detachment.

"In Putin's example, the enemy likes deadlines, and now their deadline is May 9. They love such holidays, and it is on May 9 that the enemy plans to start offensive operations both in the east of Ukraine and in other directions. But the Defense Forces, including the border guards, are ready for this," Shevtsov stressed.

He said that he is sure that the attempts of the Russian army to advance in any direction will be prevented.
