NATO does not plan to deploy troops on the territory of Ukraine, but it is important to provide it with sufficient military assistance.
Axar.az reports that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said these words to journalists during his visit to Italy.
Stoltenberg recalled that due to the delay in the supply of weapons to Ukraine from the United States and Europe, Russian forces were able to make progress in offensive operations.
"NATO does not intend to send troops to Ukraine, when I visited Ukraine last week, Ukrainians asked for more military support than NATO soldiers," the general secretary stressed.
