Axar.az reports that Matthew Miller, the spokesman of the US State Department, said this while answering a question about whether the US plans to speed up the transfer of weapons to Ukraine against the backdrop of Russia's mass attack on Ukrainian cities.

A State Department spokesperson recalled that Washington recently announced an aid package of more than $1 billion:

"We have to wait for new aid packages to be announced."
