Supporters of the Armenian National Security Service "Tavush for the Motherland" movement started a rally in Yerevan's Republic Square.

According to information, the Armenian police gathered considerable forces at the government buildings on the Republic square in the center of Yerevan. The entrances to the buildings of the Armenian government and neighboring ministries have been secured.

It was reported that the participants of the rally occupied almost every place of the Republic Square.

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan Bagrat gave Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan one hour to resign at a rally attended by thousands of people.

"We demand Pashinyan's resignation. I am ready to meet within an hour and discuss all conditions for resignation," said Bagrat.

The "time given" to Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan has ended.

The archbishop said that the struggle will be continued and that he will discuss ways to achieve Pashinyan's resignation with the parliamentary factions.

He said that he will spend this night in Republic Square.
