Turkiye's European Union membership is an illusion.

Axar.az reports that Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said this.

"Turkiye has been moving away from the EU in words and deeds for many years," Shallenberg said.

Instead of Turkiye's full membership in the EU, the Foreign Minister proposed to review the real neighborhood concept supported by pragmatic cooperation between Ankara and Brussels.
