The hottest April of the last 53 years was experienced

Last April was the hottest month in Turkiye in the last 53 years.

Axar.az reports that Mehmet Ozhaseki, Minister of Environment, Urban Development and Climate Change of Turkiye, said this.

According to him, the highest temperature in the country was 38.9 degrees, recorded in Jeylanpinar district of Shanliurfa.

The minister also said that last month the lowest temperature was determined in Sariz district of Kayseri - 9.4 degrees.

In addition, the average monthly temperature in Turkiye was 16.6 degrees.
