Miller: This jeopardizes US-Tbilisi relations

The adoption of the "Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence" in Georgia will hinder the country's integration with Europe.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Matthew Miller, the spokesperson for the US Department of State, during a press conference.

"The adoption of this document will distance Georgia from the path of European integration. All these actions jeopardize relations between the United States and Georgia," Miller said.

It should be noted that the Georgian parliament overturned the veto imposed by the president on the "Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence" the previous day.
