Broadcasting of a Russian channel was suspended

The suspension of the broadcast of Russia's 'Channel One' is related to economic issues.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Tigran Akopyan, the head of the Armenian Television and Radio Commission.

"The Armenian Broadcasting Network has a contract with 'Channel One.' According to it, the channel must cover monthly broadcasting expenses, which amounts to approximately $3 million. Local channels in the capital pay the same amount for broadcasting, there is no difference," he said.
