Iranian people are going through serious trials. China, a comprehensive strategic partner of your country, supports the government and people of Iran.

Axar.az reports that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said this in his meeting with Iran's acting foreign minister, Ali Bagiri Kani, in Nizhny Novgorod, where the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held.

"I wish the presidential elections in Iran to go smoothly," Yi stressed.

It should be noted that extraordinary presidential elections will be held in Iran on June 28.
