As we reported, US Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien met with the head of the Foreign Ministry of this country, Ararat Mirzoyan, within the framework of his visit to Armenia.

Axar.az reports that O'Brien's sitting at the meeting caused discussions.

According to claims, the US Deputy Secretary of State demonstrated his superior position with this gesture "in diplomatic language". while James O'Brien is the deputy head of the foreign policy department, and Mirzoyan is the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It should be noted that O'Brien came to Yerevan to participate in the US-Armenia Strategic Dialogue.
